Fig and Thyme Cocktail
It feels like summer is starting to slip away. The days are getting shorter and the bees are getting a bit swarmy. Make the most of the last warm evenings with this super fragrant, indulgent and delicious cocktail. Our brand new honeys are perfect for this recipe right now because they are still liquid but later in the year, just mix the honey with a tablespoon of hot water to liquify it.
Ingredients
25ml Cointreau
1 fig, finely sliced
6 sprigs of fresh thyme
1 teaspoon honey
Champagne, sparkling wine, cider or soda water
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add the cointreau and thyme and stir vigirously to release some flavour from the thyme. Add the sliced fig and honey and top up with your bubbly beverage of choice. Give it a good stir to combine and enjoy!
