The Espresso Martini is a modern icon, but we’ve given it a soulful, aromatic upgrade. By using our Chai Spice Honey—which features hand-roasted spices infused into raw Kānuka honey—you’re adding a deep, warming complexity that sugar syrup just can't touch. It’s like a hug in a cocktail glass (with a caffeine kick to keep the night going).

Ingredients
-
45ml (1.5 oz) Vodka
-
30ml (1 oz) Freshly brewed Espresso (let it cool for a minute so it doesn’t melt your ice!)
-
15ml (0.5 oz) Coffee Liqueur
-
20ml (¾ oz) Chai Honey Syrup (see the easy steps below)
-
Garnish: Three coffee beans or a cinnamon stick.
Method
Put your martini glass or coupe in the freezer. There’s something special about a cocktail that stays ice-cold until the last sip. Pour the vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and your Chai Honey Syrup into a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously. You’re looking for that beautiful, thick "crema" foam on top, so don’t be shy with the effort!
Fine-strain into your chilled glass. Watch the foam settle into a silky layer. Top with three coffee beans—the traditional sign for health, wealth, and happiness.

The Mocktail Version
Need the flavor without the booze?
-
60ml (2 oz) Strong cold brew coffee
-
20ml (¾ oz) Chai Honey Syrup
-
A splash of Oat milk (it pairs beautifully with the chai spices)
-
Method: Shake everything with ice and strain into a glass. It’s creamy, spicy, and delicious.
The Secret Ingredient: Chai Honey Syrup
Since our Chai Spice Honey is thick and full of those beautiful hand-ground spices, making a quick syrup ensures it mixes perfectly into your drink (and doesn't clump up in the bottom of your glass):
Mix equal parts Chai Spice Honey and warm water. Stir until completely dissolved. Keep a jar in the fridge. It is absolutely "the bee's knees" in a morning latte or drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
Pro Tip: If you want an even deeper flavor, swap the vodka for a dark aged rum. The caramel notes of the rum play incredibly well with the Kānuka honey and chai spices.
